Brenda G. Montee, age 65, passed away at 3:15 am on Thursday, November 5, 2009 at Anderson Hospital in Maryville.
She was born on January 9, 1944 in Augusta, GA.
She was a dispatcher for the California Highway Patrol. She was a member of Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Bethalto and the Bethalto Senior Citizens. She went to Villa Rose and called bingo once a week and she loved to play games and chat on the internet.
She is survived by her daughter, Kathryn Blair of Marrietta, GA and a son & daughter-in-law, Eric & Vita Lepchenske of Maryville; 4 grandchildren, Michael, Brittany, Stephanie and Kyali; 3 sisters; 2 brothers and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Visitation will be from 12 noon until services at 1 pm on Saturday, November 7, 2009 at Our Lady Queen of Peace Catholic Church in Bethalto with Father Jim Phalan, C.S.C. as celebrant.
Memorials may be given to the 5 A’s or the American Cancer Society.
