Jennie V. Hueneger, 83, passed away at 4:30 pm on Sunday, January 16, 2011 at Elmwood Nursing and Rehab Center in Maryville.
She was born on November 20, 1927 in Hartford, IL, the daughter of the late Frank E. and Bessie (Lanterman) Hueneger.
She was a member of Messiah Lutheran Church in Alton.
Jennie is survived by a brother, Frank Lloyd Hueneger of Moro; a sister, Melinda Whittaker of Wood River; a half sister, Viola Basso of Staunton; her nieces and nephews, including a special niece, Lydia Kehr of Cottage Hills.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Visitation will be from 10 am until service time at 11 am on Wednesday, January 19, 2011 at Elias, Kallal and Schaaf Funeral Home in Bethalto with Pastor Randy Fischer officiating..
Burial will follow at Rose Lawn Memory Gardens in Bethalto.
Memorials may be made to the Messiah Lutheran Church in Alton.
