Jack R. Nipper, 58, died at 9:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 14, 2013 at his home in Granite City. Born August 1, 1955 in Murphysboro, IL, he was the son of Ilene (Godwin) Nipper of Granite City and the late Merle A. Nipper. His profession was a heavy equipment operator. Surviving are 3 daughters, Neasha Hill (Brad) of Delhi, Kimberly Metzler (Scott) of Jerseyville, Erica Nipper of Tampa Fl., and a son Joshua Nipper (Missy) of Vine Grove, KY, six grandchildren; Brenton and Dereck Hill, Logan and Isabella Metzler and Emma and Anna Nipper, three brothers and two sisters; Merle Dean Nipper (Cindy)of Perryville, MO, Brenda Czeschin (Harlin) of Bland, MO, Sue Mull (Don) of Granite City, Daniel Nipper of Granite City and Terry Nipper (Michelle) of Granite City, and his companion, Becky Cedor of Granite City. Besides his father he was preceded in death by a brother, Jeffrey Nipper, and a sister-in-law, Kelly Nipper. A memorial visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until time of memorial service at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, August 17, 2013 at Calvary Baptist Church in Alton. Reverend Andre’ Dobson will officiate.
