Brian Potts

Brian Keith Potts, 48, passed away 2:15 p.m. Friday, May 16, 2014 at Anderson Hospital in Maryville.Born on November 30, 1965 in East St. Louis, he was the son of Robert ‘Bob’ Potts of Troy and the late  Marion (Schultze) Potts.He had been employed as a analytical chemist for the Whitmire Microgen Company.On June 18, 1994 in Wood River, he married the former Susan Harrison.  She survivies.I additon to his father and wife, surviving are two sons, Jacob Potts and Joshua Potts both of Troy; and a brother, Keith (Silvia) Potts of St. Charles, IL.His mother and a sister, Shiela Potts preceded in death.A Memorial Visitation  has been scheduled from 4-6 p.m. Tuesday, May 20 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Wood River.Memorials may be made to the family in care of expenses.Marks Mortuary in Wood River is in charge of arrangements.
