Travis Shayne Pinero, 24, of Madison, Illinois passed away at 3:27 p.m. on Saturday, August 23, 2014 at his home. He was born October 30, 1989 in Maryville, a son of Robert W. and Sherri (Welty) Pinero. He was a roofer with RSP Construction and a member of the Eagles Aerie #1126 in Granite City. He loved playing his guitar and keyboard and enjoyed his days of fishing and riding his motorcycle. He loved spending time with his nieces, nephews and cousins and will be remembered for the love and special times shared with his entire family and friends. In addition to his beloved parents, he is survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Amanda and Shawn Petroski of Granite City; brother, Jayson Pinero of Madison; niece and nephew, Kylie and Stryder; many aunts; uncles; cousins; other extended family and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ralph and Inez Welty and Joseph and Almetta Pinero.
In celebration of his life, visitation will be at Irwin Chapel, 3960 Maryville Road in Granite City on Wednesday, August 27, 2014 from 4:00 p.m. until time of service at 7:00 p.m. with Reverend Henry Crippen officiating.
