Rodney Schooler, 53, departed this life on October 23, 2015 in Granite City.
Rodney is the son of the late McKinley Schooler, Jr. (Arnetta) and Shirley (Parker) Schooler of Lexington, KY.
Rodney is survived by his wife, Deborah Schooler; son Hayden Schooler; stepson Matthew Terpening; siblings, Tony Schooler, Katie Hunt (Dr. Robert), Kay Pinkston, Rick Schooler, Troy Washington, Lisa Anderson, Ricky Searight, and Takara Spaulding. His nieces are Krystal Schooler, Erica Alcius (Nastassia) and Shian Washington. His nephews are Rodney Talbert, Jr., Markeith Gillis, Michael Wilson, Delrico Washington, Chris Washington and James Spaulding, Jr. His great niece is Jasmyne Meriwether and his great nephews are Krystian Schooler and Kaylib Nelson.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his step daughter, Crystal Terpening.
Memorial visitation will be Thursday, Oct. 29 at Paynic Home for Funerals from 4 p.m. until services begin at 5 p.m.
