Joseph C. Offutt age 62, of Collinsville, Illinois, died at 4:37 p.m. on Tuesday, June 14, 2016 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born January 30, 1954, in West Point, Mississippi, the son of Alberta (Orf) Offutt and the late Joseph C. Offutt. Joseph worked at AT&T in the finance department before retiring in 2015. He married Patricia “Pat” Koblitz on July 21, 2001 in St. Louis County, Missouri, and she survives. Joseph is also survived by two daughters, Ann Basola of Paxton, Illinois, and Sarah Albright & husband Shaun of Port Hueneme, California; one grandson, Jackson Albright; and one sister, Susan Cypret & husband Greg, of Powell, Ohio, and niece Carolyn (Eric) Best and nephew Ryan Cypret. He was a member of Chapel of the Cross Lutheran Church in St. Louis and of the Missouri Society of Professional Engineers. He was also an avid St. Louis Cardinals fan. Visitation will be held from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on June 21, 2016, at Weber & Rodney Funeral Home in Edwardsville, Illinois. The funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on June 22, 2016 at Chapel of the Cross Lutheran Church in St. Louis, with Rev. Theodore Laesch officiating.
