Ronald F. Snelson, 82, passed away in Hollister, Missouri on Wednesday, September 5, 2018.
Ronald was born on December 22, 1935 to Etcyl and Marie (Mullen) Snelson, who preceded him in death.
On August 31, 1957, he married Carol Ragan Snelson in Granite City. Together they had two children; Ronald (Illana) Snelson and Pamela (Charles) Snelson-Taylor. They survive. He is also survived by four grandchildren; Cory Snelson Winters, Cadence Taylor, Samantha Taylor, and Carlson Taylor.
He love the outdoors and was a member of the 82nd Airborne Army, Granite City Masonic Lodge 835, and the Ainad Shrine. Ronald owned and operated Snelson Auto Body in Granite City.
Visitation will be held Saturday, September 8, 2018 from 10 – 11 a.m. at Thomas Saksa Funeral Home in Granite City, followed by the funeral at 11 a.m. Interment will follow at Sunset Hill Cemetery in Glen Carbon.
