Jeanette W. Wilson, 78, of Madison, Illinois passed away at 9:15 p.m. on Friday, September 14, 2018 at Anderson Hospital in Maryville.
She was born July 29, 1940 in Dover, Tennessee, a daughter of the late Loise and Viola (Jackson) Morgan. She married Don M. Wilson on April 27, 1956 and he survives. She was a nail tech at The Nail Shop in Granite City and love to trout fish in Branson, Missouri. She loved spending time with her family and will be remembered for the love and special times shared with her family and friends.
In addition to her beloved husband of 63 years, she is survived by two daughters and sons-in-law, Kathi and Frank Chandler of Madison and Donna and Alan Funk of Granite City; a son and daughter-in-law, Don M. and Tina Wilson Jr. of Madison; four grandchildren, Ian Chandler, Brandon Chandler, Crystal (Andrew) Gray and Sarah Funk; twelve great grandchildren; two sisters and a brother-in-law, Nelly Nicol and Judy Stroder–Allen and Desi Allen; and a host of extended family and many friends.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Billy and Bobby Morgan.
In celebration of her life, a memorial visitation will be at Calvary Life Church, 4650 Maryville Road in Granite City on Monday, September 24, 2018 from 4:00 p.m. until time of memorial service at 7:00 p.m. with Pastor Desi Allen officiating.
In lieu of floral arrangements, memorials may be made to Shriner’s Hospital for Children.
