Jayson Robert Pinero, 32, of Granite City, Illinois passed away at 8:35 p.m. on Saturday, September 15, 2018 at his home.
He was born November 20, 1985 in Maryville, a son of Sherri L. (Welty) Pinero of Pooler, Georgia and Robert W. Pinero of Madison. He was a roofer with RSP Construction and loved motorcycles and cars. He enjoyed his days of fishing, being around kids and listening to music. He loved everyone he met and was always a ray of sunshine.
In addition to his beloved parents, he is survived by his fiancé, Gina Lakin and her daughter, Marci Shaw; his sister and brother-in-law, Amanda and Shawn Petroski of Trenton, Illinois; two nieces; Kylie and Daphne; a nephew, Stryder; many aunts; uncles; cousins; other extended family and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his brother, Travis Shayne Pinero and his grandparents, Joseph and Almetta Pinero and Inez and Ralph Welty.
In celebration of his life, private services will be held at Irwin Chapel in Granite City.
