Nancy Jeanne Millsap, 68, of Granite City, Illinois passed away at 8:40 p.m. on Friday, September 28, 2018 at Anderson Hospital in Maryville.
She was born September 7, 1950 in Jacksonville, Illinois, the daughter of the late Russell Ives and Mary Annetta (Howe) Lewis. She married Michael Allen Millsap on December 5, 1974 in Springfield, Illinois and he survives.
She was a dedicated and loving homemaker and had worked many years in the medical field and enjoyed working as a paramedic for several years. She was a faithful member of Peace Church in Granite City and enjoyed knitting and crocheting. She will be remembered for the love and special times shared with her family and friends.
In addition to her beloved husband, she is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Scott and Carie Lewis of O’fallon, Missouri; a daughter and her fiancé, Benalee Valbert and Perry Hartwick of Granite City; four grandchildren and their spouses, Rachael and Anthony Rhodes, Hannah and Nathan Nehrt, Gabriel Lewis and Olivia Lewis; a sister-in-law, Lisa Green of Granite City; a brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Kevin and Karen Millsap of Granite City; a niece; nephew; other extended family and friends.
In celebration of her life, visitation will be at Irwin Chapel, 3960 Maryville Road in Granite City on Wednesday, October 3, 2018 from 10:00 a.m. until time of funeral service at 12:00 noon with Reverend Cory Penn officiating.
Burial will follow at St. John Cemetery on Maryville Road in Granite City.
