Marjorie J. Jurgena, 85, passed away 10:39 pm, Tuesday, November 6, 2018 at Gateway Regional Hospital.
Born in Wood River on August 15, 1933, she was the daughter of Charles and Nellie (Goodpasture) Starkey.
Marjorie had been a secretary for the Olin Corporation before retiring.
Surviving are a niece, Kathy Hoskins of Arkansas; and dear friends.
Her parents; brother, Charles Starkey; and sisters, Hazel Starkey, Virginia Snyder and Geraldine Collins preceded her in death.
Graveside services and burial will be conducted at 1 pm, Tuesday, November 13 in Upper Alton Cemetery.
Marks Mortuary in Wood River is i charge of arrangements.
