Kendall Joyce Zehnle, 58, of Granite City, IL, passed away at 1:47 a.m. on Fri. Nov. 16, 2018 at Gateway Regional Medical Center ER in Granite City.
She was born Nov. 15, 1960 in Granite City to Neva (Parker) Lucas Ethington and the late Kenneth Guy Lucas.
Kendall worked at Laurie?s Shoes in St. Louis, MO. She loved spending time with her family, shopping, having fun, traveling, especially on cruises or any destination with a beach and was known for her favorite expression: “Hootie Hoot!”. She also enjoyed watching “The Voice” and “This Is Us” and was an avid Cardinal’s baseball fan.
She is survived by her mother: Neva (Richard) Lucas-Ethington of Granite City; a daughter: Emily (Derek) Stichling of St. Louis; a son: Kyle (Marina) Bieker of Mt. Zion, IL; a sister: Debra (Raymond) Stewart of Fairview Heights, IL; a grandmother: Virginia Parker of Granite City; a grandson: Matthew Bieker; 2 grandpups: Chopper & Kobe; 2 “adopted” daughters: Amanda Lucas and Mandy Campise; her dear kitty: Patty Ann; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, Kenneth Guy Lucas and her grandfather, Wesley Parker.
Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Mon. Nov. 19, 2018 at Wojstrom Funeral Home & Crematory. Services will be at 11:00 a.m. on Tues. Nov. 20, 2018 at Word of Life Tabernacle with Rev. Henry Crippen officiating. Burial will be private.
