Elizabeth Ann Messick, 82, of Granite City, IL, passed away at 1:25 a.m. Wed. Dec. 26, 2018 at Granite Nursing & Rehab in Granite City.
She was born Mar. 23, 1936 in Vandalia, IL to the late Clifford Raymond & Lucy Elizabeth (Ishmael) Tedrick.
On Jan. 10, 1953, she and Jack Lee Messick were married in Vandalia, IL. He survives in Granite City.
Ann was an LPN working for many years at St. Elizabeth Hospital and local nursing homes.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by 3 sons: David Lee (Karen) Messick of Granite City, Daniel Allen Messick of FL, and Michael Joseph Messick of St. Louis, MO; 2 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; and 4 great-grandchildren.
Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter: Julie Ann Messick; a granddaughter: Amy Argent; and 2 brothers: Robert Raymond Tedrick and Morris Gale Tedrick.
Ann made a gift of her body to St. Louis University Hospital.
