Robert “Jeff” Huebner, 63, of Madison, Illinois, passed away at 4:05 a.m. on Wednesday, March 20, 2019 at his home. He was born March 5, 1956 in Granite City, a son of the late Robert L. and Sophie F. (Cionko) Huebner. He had worked at Huebner Hardware in Granite City and later was a self employed contractor for several years. He had a love for scuba diving and enjoyed his years of assisting with water search and rescues. He is survived by a sister and brother-in-law, Vita “Denise” and Robert Crews of Granite City; a brother and sister-in-law, Dennis L. and Nancy Huebner of Connecticut; other extended family and friends.
In celebration of his life, a memorial visitation will be held at Irwin Chapel, 3960 Maryville Road in Granite City on Wednesday, March 27, 2019 from 4:00 p.m. until time of memorial service at 7:00 p.m. with Reverend Rich Smallie officiating.
