Dora Eva “Pat” Orasco, 75, of Granite City, Illinois passed away at 7:47 a.m. on Monday, April 22, 2019 at Barnes Hospital in St. Louis, Missouri. She was born July 21, 1943 in Anna, Illinois, a daughter of the late Edward and Dora Eva (Helton) Poole. She married Michael Lee Orasco Sr. and he passed away on July 3, 2004. Pat was a dedicated and loving mother and grandmother. She was devoted to helping her family and always willing to help others around her. She loved collecting, cherished antiques and was fond of the Victorian era furnishings. She is survived and will dearly be missed by four children and their spouses, Michael Lee Orasco Jr. of Redford, Michigan, Tina and Fred French of Granite City, Bobby and Teresa Orasco of Granite City and Christopher Orasco of Granite City; four grandchildren, Sebastian Orasco, Brittney Sullivan, Anastasia Orasco and Drayton Orasco; five great grandchildren, Christopher Sullivan, Isabella Orasco, Lydia Orasco, Evan Sullivan and Kaysliee Orasco; a brother and sister-in-law, Melvin Michael and Carol Poole Sr. of Granite City; a sister, Anna Marie Gross of Granite City; many nieces; nephews; other extended family and friends. In addition to her beloved husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Caitlyn Ashley Nicole MacKenzie and six siblings, Joanna Mae Clutts, Lucille Hammond, George “Bud” Lamb, Charles Lamb, Lawrence “Dean” Lamb and James Hall “Junior” Lamb.
In celebration of her life, visitation will be at Irwin Chapel, 3960 Maryville Road in Granite City on Friday, April 26, 2019 from 10:00 a.m. until time of funeral service at 1:00 p.m. with Reverend Henry Crippen officiating.
