David Glenn DeForest Sr., 49, of Granite City, IL, passed away Fri. June 14, 2019 in Granite City.
He was born Oct. 19, 1969 in St. Louis, MO to Bettie (Thompson) Fudge of Granite City and the late Buford Melvin DeForest.
David worked in construction and loved listening to politics on the A.M. stations.
He is survived by a son and daughter-in-law: David G. & Cescelli DeForest Jr. of Granite City; 2 grandchildren: Jax Vee and Celia; a brother: Buford ‘Dean’ (Rhonda) DeForest of Granite City; 3 sisters: Rebecca VanScoyk of Troy, IL, Helen (Chet) Fetter of MI and Linda Dioneda of Granite City; and 2 half-sisters: Melody (Gene) Garrett of Granite City and Deborah (Rolla) Hoffman of St. Louis, MO.
Besides his father, he was preceded in death by his beloved step-father, Charles E. Fudge Jr.
Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Wed. June 19, 2019 at Wojstrom Funeral Home & Crematory.
