Winford Everette Treece, 54, of Granite City, IL, passed away at 9:20 a.m. Fri. Oct. 18, 2019 at Anderson Hospital in Maryville, IL.
He was born May 6, 1965 in St. Louis, MO.
On Feb. 14, 2002, he and Stephanie A. Petras were married in Edwardsville, IL. She survives in Granite City.
Winford loved softball, fishing and music.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by 3 daughters: Kailyn Treece of Wood River, IL, Brittany (Kevin) James and Amanda Menges of Granite City; a grandson: Mason Treece of Granite City; a sister: Paula (Danny) Hall of St. Louis; 3 brothers: Jimmy (Cookie) Winters of Caseyville, IL, Robert (Donna) Winters of Godfrey, IL and Troy (Connie) Winters of Collinsville, IL; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family will hold a memorial service at a later date.
