He was born June 6, 1996 in Granite City to Larissa Mullen of Granite City.
Dakota worked at CFW Warehouse.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his step-father: Timothy Mullen of Granite City; a brother: Shaun Mullen of Granite City; 2 sisters: Courtney (David) Jenkins of Carlinville, IL and Chelsea Mullen of Alton, IL; twin nephews: Mitchell & Michael Jenkins; grandparents: Harrison & Jeanne Mullen of Granite City; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
The family will hold a memorial service at a later date when crowd restrictions have been lifted.
