Stephen Michael Williams Jr., 28, of Granite City, IL passed away at 10:57 a.m. Thurs. July 9, 2020 at his home surrounded by his family.
He was born July 30, 1991 in Maryville, IL to Nancy A. (Dufrenne) Williams-Robertson of Desoto, MO and the late Stephen Michael Williams.
Stephen had worked at the Flying J. He loved skateboarding, wrestling, football and shopping for clothes and had a huge collection of hats.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by: his daughter: EmelliaLynn Williams of Granite City; grandmothers: Linda Williams of Granite City and Alice Dufrenne of Desoto, MO; brother: Jacob Woolverton of Pevely, MO; 2 sisters: Cierra Brown of AK and Brittany (R.J.) Barrios of Granite City; very close cousins who were like his siblings: Sebastian, Ana, Michael, Drew, Mariah and Dustin; and an aunt: Michelle Schweppe of Desoto, MO.
Besides his father, he was preceded in death by a brother: Justin Dufrenne; an aunt: Betty Tehandon; and an uncle: Jimmy Williams.
