Joseph James Pfeiffer, 63, of Granite City, Illinois passed away at 4:42 p.m. on Tuesday, October 6, 2020 at his home. He was born May 4, 1957 in Columbus, Ohio, a son of the late Joseph and Lillian Margaret (Rider) Pfeiffer. He was an over-the-road truck driver who enjoyed his many travels throughout his life. He will be remembered for the love and special times shared with his family and friends. Joe is survived by a sister and brother-in-law, Joann and Edwin “Jim” Doty of Renton, Washington; two nieces, Tammi Terzopoulas and Lyn Doty; a great niece and her spouses, Ali and Dustin Deatherage; other extended family and many dear friends. There will be no services held and a private burial will be at Sunset Hill Memorial Estates in Glen Carbon. Memorials may be made to a charity of one’s choice and may be accepted at the funeral home.
