Marian B. Cavins, 89 of Granite City, IL passed away peacefully at her home on Sunday, November 1, 2020.
Marian was born on July 7, 1931 in Granite City; the daughter of the late Alex and Mary (Schall) Kish. Marian was a real estate agent and broker for Bailey Realty and had a special love for her cats and dogs. In her free time Marian enjoyed her days of spending time with her family and she will be remembered for all the special times they shared together.
Marian is survived by and will be missed by her children; Diana and Donald Elliott of Galena, IL, Deborah and Ken Gordon of Houston, TX, Tina Richardson of California, Timothy Cavins and special friend Linda Dean of Granite City, IL, Mary Parker of Granite City, IL, Craig and Jennifer Cavins of Washington, DC; grandchildren, Jennifer Page, Katherine and Nick Ulch, Kimberly Speece and fiancé Lester White, Zachary Cavins, Jake Cavins, Brooke Cavins, Holly Trantham; great-granddaughter, Hope Ulch. The family would like to extend a very special thank you to Heartland Hospice for the wonderful care they gave our mom.
In addition to her parents, Marian was preceded in death by her husband; Harold Cavins and her sister, Helen Byttner.
In celebration of Marian’s life a family service is being planned for a later date.
Memorial donations are suggested to St. Louis Dachshund Rescue, Partners for Pets, Metro East Humane Society or Heartland Hospice.
