Kathryn Mae Pickerell, 69, of Granite City, Illinois passed away at 7:40 p.m. on Friday, December 4, 2020 at her home. She was born January 3, 1951 in Hilo, Hawaii, a daughter of the late George O. Machino Sr. and the late Mary (Dakai) Rotes. She married Robert L. Pickerell on October 25, 2003 in Granite City and he survives. She retired from Lincoln Machine Shop in St. Louis with 20 years of dedicated service as an operator. She enjoyed her days of bowling and will be remembered for the love and special times shared with her family and friends. In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sons, Blake Tourville of Dorsey and Kenny (Erica) Tourville of Troy; four grandchildren, Samantha, Kathryn, Jessica and Khloe; four great grandchildren; two sisters, Pam (David) Potts of Granite City and Mary Dakai of California; a brother, George Machino of Edwardsville; other extended family and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two husbands, Kenneth Tourville Jr. and Duree Goss and one brother, Michael Rotes. In celebration of her life, a public drive through visitation will be held at Irwin Chapel, 3960 Maryville Road in Granite City on Wednesday, December 9, 2020 from 12:00 noon until 12:45 p.m. Private services will also be held with a private burial to follow at Sunset Hill Memorial Estates in Glen Carbon.
