Donna Housend, 75, of Granite City, IL, passed away at 8:31 p.m. Thurs. Jan. 7, 2021 at Gateway Regional Medical Center ER in Granite City.
She was born Dec. 26, 1945 in Venice, IL to the late Robert & Mary (Spangler) King.
Donna had been a waitress and cook at the American Steel cafeteria and Brenda’s Restaurant in Granite City and Madison, IL.
She is survived by 2 daughters: Lisa (Jeff) Pointer and Carla (Robert) Brooks; a son: Todd Housend of Granite City; 5 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; and 2 sisters: Frances O’Dell of Esteline, SD and Karen Mares of Granite City.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 2 sisters and a brother-in-law: Della Coltogirone, Lois King and Vernon O’Dell.
