Rose Marie Kombrink, age 97 of Highland, IL, died Thursday, May 06, 2021, at her residence in Highland, IL.
She was born on February 16, 1924, in Highland, IL, the daughter of Lewis and Josephine (nee Neier) Phelps.
On July 11, 1946, she married Elmer E. Kombrink at Alhambra, IL. He passed away on September 01, 1993.
She was a member of VFW Ladies Auxiliary #5694 in Highland, IL.
Rose Marie was born in Highland and attended Highland School. She had worked at the Shoe Factory, Emerson Electric, and Jakel Manufacturing before becoming a homemaker. She enjoyed playing Bingo, fishing, baking, travel and watching with her grandchildren and great grandchildren as they grew.

Visitation will be held from 9:00 AM to 10:45 AM on Wednesday, May 12, 2021, at Spengel-Boulanger Funeral Home in Highland, IL.
Graveside funeral service will be at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, May 12, 2021, at Highland City Cemetery in Highland, IL, with Rev. Todd Bean, officiating.
Interment will be at Highland City Cemetery in Highland, IL.
