Annabelle Turner

Annabelle Turner, age 92 of Collinsville, IL, born February 8, 1929, in Caruthersville, MO, passed away on Tuesday, October 19, 2021, at her residence.

Annabelle worked as a cashier at Kroger for over 30 years before retiring.  She was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Collinsville. She enjoyed cooking, shopping, cleaning, babysitting her grandkids, and visiting with her great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Birt and Emma (nee Dunn) Randolph; her husband, Norman Turner; and six brothers and sisters.

Surviving is her daughter, Janet (Curtis) Knolhoff of Collinsville; four grandchildren:  Norman Knolhoff of Edwardsville, Courtney (Sean) Hay of Collinsville, Erynn (Robert) Molina of Glen Carbon, and Kim (Moses) Jaoko of Collinsville; eight great-grandchildren:  Sylvia and Althea Knolhoff, Elijah and Nathan Hay, Robert and Ben Molina, and Laila and Leo Jaoko; a sister, Jimmie Courington of AL; numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be from 10 – 11 a.m. on Saturday, October 23, 2021, at Barry Wilson Funeral Home, Maryville, IL.

Funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. with Rev. Michael Walther officiating.  Due to current state restrictions, masks are required to be worn. Burial will be in St. John Cemetery, Collinsville.
