Ronald Charles Michael Koley, Jr.

Ronald Charles Michael Koley, Jr., age 66 of Highland, IL, died Monday, November 29, 2021, at Saint Elizabeth Hospital in O’Fallon, IL. 

He was born on Sunday, May 01, 1955, in Aurora, IL, the son of Ronald and Charlotte (nee Disell) Koley, Sr. 

On Sunday, April 02, 2000, he married Paula Jean Koley, nee Schneider, at Phoenix, AZ, who passed away on Sunday, January 26, 2014. 

He was a member of the Steel Workers Local #25. 

Mr. Koley was born and grew up in Aurora, IL. From 1988-2000, he lived in Phoenix, Arizona where he worked for Storage Equipment Systems, traveling all over the U.S. with installations. He moved to Pierron, IL in 2000 and worked for Arrow Industries since 2004. He enjoyed bowling, fishing, following Nascar racing, watching sports, and White Sox baseball. 

Survivors include: Daughter – Jennifer Lynn Kedzierski, Sheridan, IL; Son – Edward Lawrence Koley, Sandwich, IL; Daughter – Aja Marie Mauer, Mendota, IL; Son – Fredrick James Koley, Ottawa, IL; Grandchildren – 14; Brother – Patrick Joseph Koley, Tucson, AZ; Brother – Scott Alan Koley, Peru, IL; Brother – Frederick James “Rick” Koley, Rifle, CO; Sister – Leerae Anne Sowers, Marseilles, IL; Sister – Dawn Marie Seaney; Brother – Josh Seaney; First Wife – Linda Viars (Married 1975-Divorced 1984). 

He was preceded in death by: Father – Ronald Charles Michael Koley, Sr. – Died 1999; Mother – Charlotte Ann Koley, nee Disell; Wife – Paula Jean Koley, nee Schneider – Died 1/26/2014; Sister – Lori Anne Vallejo – Died 2012; Sister – Nicki Lynn Gockwood; Brother – Douglas E. Seaney. 

Arrangements are being handled by Spengel-Boulanger Funeral Home in Highland, IL. 

Visitation will be held from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM on Friday, December 03, 2021, at Spengel-Boulanger Funeral Home in Highland, IL. 

Memorial Service will be at 11:00 AM on Friday, December 03, 2021, at Spengel-Boulanger Funeral Home in Highland, IL, with Rev. Father Paul J. Bonk, Pastor, Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Pierron, IL, officiating. 

Private Interment will be at Highland City Cemetery in Highland, IL. 

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
