Edwardsville Loses Heartbreaker to Triad To Finish The Collinsville Prairie Farms Holiday Classic

COLLINSVILLE – In the final game of the Collinsville Prairie Farms Holliday Classic the Edwardsville Tigers and the Triad Knights battled a close game, the Triad Knights were able to sneak past the Tigers with a 46 to 42 win.

In the first quarter the Knights and Tigers were neck and neck and took a 10 to 10 tie going into the second quarter. In the second quarter Edwardsville took a one point lead going into halftime with a 18 to 17 lead.

In the third quarter the Knights took a 35 to 30 over the Tigers. In the final quarter the Tigers outscored the Knights but it was not enough.

The Tigers were led by Bryce Spiller with 18 points. The Knights were led by McGrady Noyes with 12 points.

The Tigers will regroup and take a 7-7 record and will play East St. Louis on the road on Tuesday for a Southwest Conference game.
