Major Case Squad Closes Case After It Is Highly Unlikely Bunker Hill Woman Was Murdered

BUNKER HILL – The Major Case Squad of Greater St. Louis has disbanded and has turned the investigation of 91-year-old Nancy Blycker death back over to the Macoupin County Sheriff’s Office.

Lieutenant Mike O’Neill said Tuesday afternoon it is “highly unlikely” the death of Blycker was “due to homicidal means.” Blycker, was found deceased in the 2900 block of Wood Lane in Bunker Hill on Monday morning.

The official cause of death is pending further laboratory analysis.
