Ruth E. Harrison, age 70, of Granite City, IL, passed away on April 10, 2022,
at her home in Granite City, IL surrounded by her family. Ruth was born on October 20, 1951, in Granite City, IL., a daughter of Earl Harrison and Clara ( Wolz ) Harrison.
Ruth retired from Glaso Smith Kline in 2004 after working 17years as a Packaging operator.
Ruth loved being with her family, friends, and her fur babies.
Ruth married and divorced twice.
In addition to her parents, Ruth was preceded in death by three sisters, Rosemary (Rosie) Ensor, Elizabeth (Betty) Crone, and Marilyn Burdzilauskas; and by four brothers, James “Jimmy”, William “Billy”, Ralph, and Earl “Donald” Harrison.
She is survived by her loving children, Donna (Darryl) Doty and David (Debra-(deceased) Hager both of Granite City, IL. Four Grandchildren Dustin Allen, Joseph “Joey” Ziecker, Cheyanna “Chey” Durant, and Brandon Hager. Two Great-Grandchildren Dane and Serenity Ziecker; siblings, Esther “Sis” Wagner, Barabara “Barb” (Brent) Pettersson, Carol Jean “Jeannie” Garber, Linda Tennant, Patricia “Patty” (Patrick) Jeske, and Richard “Ricky” Harrison; sister-in-law, Debbie Harrison; many nieces, nephews, extended family & friends.
In celebration of Ruth’s life, a family gathering is being planned for a later date.
