Methamphetamine Charges File Today On Two Separate Residents Of Old Oak Trailer Park

BETHALTO – On Friday, December 2, 2022, Bethalto Officers teamed up with members of the United States Marshall’s Service to serve multiple arrest warrants at Old Oak Trailer Park, 100 Wesley Drive, Lot 70, East Alton, Illinois. Information had been developed prior to the response that:

DOUGLAS A PETERSON

M/W AGE 42

100 WESLEY DR. LOT 70

and his brother were both wanted on outstanding felony warrants and living at the residence. Officers involved located both subjects in the trailer and took them into custody on the felony warrants. Douglas was arrested on outstanding felony warrants related to a Violation of an Order or Protection and Identity Theft, while his brother was taken into custody on an Illinois Department of Correction’s warrant. Douglas was also found to be in possession of more than 5 grams of Methamphetamine when he was taken into custody.

Later the same day in a separate incident Bethalto Officers responded to Old Oak Trailer Park, 100 Wesley Drive, Lot 12, East Alton, Illinois, where they met with:

M/W AGE 44

100 WESLEY DRIVE, LOT 12

During that incident officers located Methamphetamine and paraphernalia that was linked to Peters. Further investigative efforts resulted in the collection of information which indicated Peters possessed the Methamphetamine with the intent to distribute it.

Douglas A. Peterson was charged with Unlawful Possession of more than 5 Grams of Methamphetamine (class 2 felony). Judge Slemer set Peterson’s bond at $50,000.00.

Jeremy D. Peters was charged with Unlawful Possession with Intent to Deliver Methamphetamine (class 2 felony). Judge Slemer set Peters’ bond at $50,000.00

As always it is important to remember that the issuance of charges in these incidents are based solely on probable cause and are not indicative of guilt. These individuals are presumed innocent until proven guilt in a court of law of all the charges filed.
