COTTAGE HILLS – Several area fire departments responded to the 1300 block of Deanna Ave around 8:30 p.m. Tuesday night for a structure fire.
When firefighters arrived on scene flames could be seen coming from multiple windows of the home. Due to the severity of the fire a box-alarm was activated. Rosewood Heights, Bethalto and Meadowbrook Fire Departments was called to the scene to help battle the fire. Fosterburg sent a truck to man Cottage Hills Fire Station.

Firefighters were able to knock down the fire quickly. Madison County Emergency Management Rehab Unit also responded to the scene.
The homeowners arrived shortly after the firefighters arrived. No injuries were reported.
