BUNKER HILL – Bunker Hill Fire Department along with several other area Fire Departments responded to a structure fire in the 6500 block of Wood Cemetery Rd. Sunday night.
When firefighters arrived on scene the house was fully engulfed in fire and had a partial collapse of the structure. Due to the rural area and not many neighbors the house had been burning awhile before someone noticed the fire and called 911.
Bunker Hills called mutual aid help from Brighton, Dorsey, Gillispie and Dorchester Fire Departments. The house appeared to be vacant, and no injuries were reported. The house was a total loss.
