Joseph Lee Roti Roti, PhD, age 79 of Highland, IL, died Saturday, February 18, 2023, at Saint Joseph’s Hospital in Highland, IL.
He was born on Tuesday, October 12, 1943, in Newport, RI, the son of Donald and Shirley (nee Lemmer) Roti Roti.
On Monday, December 22, 2008, he married Patricia Lee (nee Wilhelm) Roti Roti at St. Louis, MO, who survives.
Joe was a passionate scientist and researcher. His accomplishments and contributions were vast. He was also an avid lover of nature, a remarkable photographer, a competitive war game enthusiast, and a ‘foodie’ through and through. Joe was kind, generous, quiet, thoughtful, and a beautiful soul whose mark on this world was immense. He will be deeply missed.

He was preceded in death by: Father – Donald S. Roti Roti; Mother – Shirley L. (nee Lemmer) Roti Roti.
Arrangements are being handled by Spengel-Boulanger Funeral Home in Highland, IL.
Special gathering was held at the Roti Roti Art Center of Buchanan, Buchanan, MI.
Interment will be at Oak Ridge Cemetery, Buchanan, MI.
