ALTON – The Alton Police Department received a report of a shooting outside of 1601 Rock Springs Drive this evening. The incident was reported to the police department at 7:34 p.m. Â
“Officers arrived and located one male subject who had been shot. The victim was transported to a local hospital by the Alton Fire Department and later transferred to a St. Louis area hospital for further treatment.” Alton Police Chief Jarrett Ford said
