Mary L. “Cat” Kayser, age 63 of Highland, IL, died Sunday, September 24, 2023, at her home in Highland, IL.
She was born on Wednesday, January 20, 1960, the daughter of Richard and Betty (nee Miller) Kayser.
Ms. Kayser grew up in rural Edwardsville, IL on the family farm. She graduated from Edwardsville High School in 1978. She had lived in Edwardsville, Greenville and Highland, IL. She was a kind, generous and caring person who touched the lives of many people. She had a passion for cooking, gardening and the Cardinal baseball team. She enjoyed preparing delicious meals for her family and friends, growing beautiful flowers and vegetables in her backyard, and cheering for her favorite team. She was an animal lover who adored her two cats, Layla and Kami, and often donated to the animal shelters.

She was preceded in death by:

Brother – William R. Kayser – Died 2/12/1967.
Arrangements are being handled by Spengel-Boulanger Funeral Home in Highland, IL.
A Private Memorial Service will be held at a later date.
