Mrs. Kevin Y. Spealman, 48, of Granite City, Illinois passed away at 1:55 p.m. on Monday, October 9, 2023, in the emergency room at Gateway Regional Medical Center in Granite City. She was born November 17, 1974, in Denver, Colorado, a daughter of Sharon (McGee) Lievens of Granite City and the late Joseph Lievens. She married Brian L. Spealman on April 11, 2008, in Edwardsville and he survives. Kevin was very creative and artistic in drawing. She had a love of nature, watching the sunset, days of camping and traveling and helping and caring for animals. She cherished her daughter and grandchildren and will be remembered for the love and special times shared with her family and friends. In addition to her beloved husband and mother, she is survived by a daughter, Andrea Gieseking and her fiancé, John Chrusciel of Granite City; two grandchildren, Waylon and Adalynn Chrusciel; a sister, Mary Chrusciel of Granite City; mother-in-law, Donna Spealman of Troy; many nieces; nephews; other extended family and friends. In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by her father-in-law, Lawrence Spealman. In celebration of her life, a celebration of her life will be held in the near future and will be announced.
