Linda Marie Adkins, 63, of Granite City, IL, passed away at 9:10 p.m. Sat. Nov. 25, 2023 at Granite Nursing and Rehab in Granite City, IL.
She was born Sept. 7, 1960 in Baltimore, MD to the late George Delmar and Barbara (Wagner) Miller.
She and Gregory Alan Hargrove were married Feb. 22, 2022 in Granite City and he preceded her in death June 26, 2023.
Linda had been a hairstylist. She loved motorcycle rides and being with friends and also enjoyed working in her yard, gardening and planting flowers. Linda also loved her dog and painting ceramics.
Survivors include 2 sons: Aaron and Eric Schwartz; step-son: Kenneth Hargrove; step-daughter: Amber Miles; 3 grandchildren: Noah, Lillie and Mae Schwartz; a brother: Ray Miller; sister: Phyllis A. Miller; and a sister-in-law: Kelly Lange.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 2 brothers: Michael and Doug Miller.
The family will hold a celebration of Linda’s life at a later date.
