Alton Man Charged With Arson Along With Other Charges
ALTON – 23 -23-year-old Kaiharie S Arnold of Alton was charged with one count of Aggravated Arson, two counts of Arson, one count of Residential Burgery, one count of Aggravated Battery, and one count of Aggravated Assault on a Police Officer.
Firefighters responded to Polo Laundromat on November 18 for a fire in the bathroom because people were inside he was charged with Aggravated Arson. On started another fire on October 18th in the 200 block of Main Street and on Monday he set a garage on fire in the 900 block of Willard. He also burglarized a house in the 1200 block of Rixon.
Madison County State Attorney Tom Haine has applied for a petition to Deny Rretrail Release.
