David J. Berry was born on August 7, 1943 in Granite City, Illinois to Robert and Ruth (Gruver) Berry. He was called home with the Lord on December 10, 2023 at 2:04pm while at home surrounded by his wife, Sylvia Fitzgerald Berry and family. David served in the Air Force and was also a mechanic. He enjoyed tinkering with things whenever he could. Preceding him in death was his daughter Christine. Along with his wife, Sylvia, he leaves behind step-daughter Vanessa Fitzgerald and grandchildren JerAme and Aaliyah, son, Keith (Jackie) Berry and grandson Ronnie Hookland, daughter Pam (Charles) Leave and grandchildren Devon and Olivia along with Christine’s children Amber and Miranda. David’s sister Sue and Jeff Langley and brothers Sherman (Melody), Dale, and Jim (Annette). A Celebration of Life Service may be held at a later date.
