Stephanie Renee Curtis, 46, of Granite City, Illinois passed away at 9:15 p.m. on Tuesday, December 26, 2023, with her family at her side at her home. She was born January 10, 1977, in Granite City.
She had worked in home healthcare with D.O.R.S. Stephanie lived life to the fullest and was always caring for others. She cherished her family and friends and will be remembered for the love and special times shared with them. She enjoyed taking vacations, loved the sun and sand at a beautiful beach and was known for being very forward, outgoing, never meeting a stranger and having a soft heart of gold. She is survived by her mother, Tammy (Arnold) Jackson of Granite City; her stepfather, Leon Bugg of Granite City; three sons, Cody Curtis of Granite City, Chandler Patterson of Granite City and Cameron Hays of Granite City; sister, Angie Bennett of Granite City; aunts and uncles, Shelley and George Smith of Glen Carbon and Charlene and Clinton North of Troy; cousins, Amber Parker of Granite City and Joie White of Troy; many other extended family and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her father, Butch Curtis and her grandparents, Lawrence and Allene Arnold. In celebration of her life, visitation will be at Irwin Chapel, 3960 Maryville Road in Granite City on Saturday, December 30, 2023, from 11:00 a.m. until time of funeral service at 1:00 p.m. with Reverend Sharon Autenrieth officiating.
