BETHALTO – Bethalto Fire Department responded to a trailer fire at around 6:30 a.m. Tuesday in the 100 South Wesley in East Alton.
When firefighters arrived heavy smoke and fire were coming from a Class A driveable camper. Firefighters quickly extinguished the fire. The camper sustained significant damage.

Rosewood Heights and Cottage Hills were called due to a box alarm being called.
No injuries were reported and it’s unknown at this time what caused the fire.
