Craig Rogers

Craig Alan Rogers, 70, of Granite City, Illinois, passed away, Sunday, January 21, 2024 at home surrounded by family. Craig was born February 8, 1953 in Alton, Illinois to Raymond and Geraldine (Ahrens) Rogers.

Craig was a past member of First Presbyterian Church in Edwardsville, Illinois. He worked many years at American Steel and Hershey’s in Granite City, Illinois. Craig’s true passion was music and he played keyboard in many different bands over the years; most recently he played with Fire & Ice, Crossroads, and the Bobby Soxx. In addition to music, he loved spending time with family and friends. Craig was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and brother, who will truly be missed by all who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Geraldine Rogers and his brother-in-law, Jack Miller.

Surviving to cherish his memory are his loving wife Coleen Kay (McDaniels) Rogers, of Granite City, Illinois; his children, Brent (Stela Srabova) Rogers, of Bath, Pennsylvania, Sean Rogers, and Heather (Alex) Morel, both of Sarasota, Florida; his step children, Heather (Larry Guthrie) McKean, of Alton, Illinois, Penny (Scott) Amos, of Wentzville, MO, and Kelly Elliff, of Wood River, Illinois; his grandchildren, Evelyn Morel, Daphne Morel, Chase Morel, Carlie Sies, Samantha (Dylan) Braizer, Morgan Kitsmiller, Audrey Price, Abigail Riti, and Georgia Elliff; his great grandchildren, Max, Colton, Miles, and Jaxxon; his siblings, Richard (Lynn) Rogers, Gail Miller, and Lorna (David) Reisner; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Visitation: Friends may visit from 10 a.m. to noon, Friday, January 26, 2024 at Irwin Chapel, 591 Glen Crossing Rd, Glen Carbon, Illinois.

Funeral: A Memorial Service will be held at 12 Noon, Friday, January, 26, 2024 at Irwin Chapel, Glen Carbon, Illinois with Pastor John Hembruch officiating. Inurnment will be held at a later date in St John Cemetery, Granite City, Illinois.
