Christian James Anderson, 33, of Granite City, Illinois passed away at 4:44 a.m. on Tuesday, April 23, 2024, in Belleville, Illinois.
He was born January 11, 1991, in Worcester, Massachusetts, a son of Diane Lee (Hosier) Anderson of Granite City and the late David E. Anderson. He was a member of St. Elizabeth Catholic Church in Granite City and had a love for horses, art and music. He enjoyed his days of swimming, going to church and eating his mom and grandma’s cooking.
In addition to his beloved mother, he is survived by six brothers, Sean Anderson, David Anderson, Derek (Danielle) Anderson, Jonathan Anderson, Kyle Anderson and Griffin Anderson; two sisters, Nicole Anderson and Alexis (Chauncey) Carpenter; grandparents, James and Betty Allen of Granite City; aunt, Denise Pickens of Carrollton; nieces; nephews; cousins; other extended family and friends.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Lillian and Hilding Anderson and four aunts, Jeannie, Janet, Julie and Nancy.
In celebration of his life, visitation will be held at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church in Granite City on Friday, May 17, 2024, from 10:30 a.m. until time of a funeral mass at 11:30 a.m. with Father Alfred Tumwesigye as celebrant.
