Harold Ed Scott, 86, of Shiloh, IL, born Saturday, April 16, 1938, in Jacksonville, IL, passed away Tuesday, May 14, 2024 at Memorial Hospital East in Shiloh, IL.
Harold worked at Sears in management for 42 years. He was a member of Franklin Lodge #25 AF & AM – Alton, IL, Scottish Rite Bodies, Ainad Shrine, Past Potentate 2007, Hospital Unit, Legion of Honor, Director Staff, Oriental Band, several Shrine Clubs, Southern, Illinois Court 86 R.O.J. He was a United States Army Veteran.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth “Betty” J. Scott who passed away on August 31, 2023; parents, Charles and Floy L., nee Blimling, Scott; brothers, Eugene Scott, John Scott, sister, Lucille Delaney and 2 at infancy.
Surviving are his daughter, Michele (Frank) Krajczar of Saint Louis, MO; step-grandchildren, Steve (Shannon) Krajczar, Ashley (James) Jeffery and Katie (Tyler) Simpson; great-grandchildren, Emry Krajczar, Morgan Jeffery and Jaylnn Hall.

Visitation: Visitation from 4:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m., Monday, May 20, 2024 at Kurrus Funeral Home in Belleville, IL. There will be a Jester walk through at 7:13 p.m. followed by Divan /Past Potentate, Legion of Honor, Hospital Unit, Director’s Staff and Oriental Band.
Services: Masonic Service will be held at 7:30 p.m., Monday, May 20, 2024 at Kurrus Funeral Home. Private Family Interment at Valhalla Memorial Park Cemetery in Godfrey, IL.
