Patricia Ann Hartman (née Blumenstock), 88, of Madison, Illinois passed away on Sunday, June 9, 2024, at Liberty Village in Maryville.
She was born October 16, 1935, in Venice, Illinois, a daughter of the late Oel and Geneva (née Richardson) Blumenstock.
She married Andrew J. Hartman on June 14, 1958, in Madison, Illinois and he passed away on October 15, 1992.
Pat worked as a secretary in the Madison School District for several years. She retired with the Granite City School District #9, and was a member of the Cafeteria and Custodian Union Local 98. She was also a member of the Croatian Fraternal Union 222 and life member of the Amvets Auxiliary 204.
She is survived by two daughters and son-in-laws, Judith Mudro (John), Kimberly
Obremski/Adams (John); and one son and daughter-in-law, Christopher Hartman (Amy). She is a grandmother to 15, and a great-grandmother to 23. She has three siblings, Carol Hutchinson, Beverly Robertson, and Linda Vincent; many nieces, nephews, other extended family, and friends.
In addition to her beloved husband and parents, she was preceded in death by two daughters, Janet Werner and Gloria Hoover.
In celebration of her life, a visitation will be at Thomas Saksa Funeral Home, 2205 Pontoon Road in Granite City on Wednesday, June 19, 2024, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
A graveside service will be held at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in Saint Louis at 12:45 p.m. on Thursday, June 20, 2024.
