Vivian H. Giuka, 95, of Lebanon, IL, passed away at 7:02 p.m. Wed. July 31, 2024 at Lebanon Care Center in Lebanon.
She was born July 4, 1929 in Nashville, IL to the late Pete and Alvina (Nolte) Ernst.
She and George Stephen Giuka Jr. were married in Nov. 1948. He preceded her in death Dec. 14, 2014.
Vivian had worked at Target for many years and had been a member of Nameoki United Methodist Church. She was a giving and kind person with a gentle personality.
Survivors include a son: Gary Daniel (Juliana) Giuka Sr. of Goreville, IL; five grandchildren: Gary Giuka Jr., Alexander N. Giuka, Christopher Giuka, Joshua Giuka and Christopher Cordines; and four great-grandchildren: Shelby, James, Elizabeth, Addicus; and one great-great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by three sons: Mark, Bruce and Kenneth Lynn Giuka; a brother: Hershel Ernst; and one sister: Gladys McTasney
Burial will be private at Lake Charles Memorial Park in St. Louis, MO.
