Bradley R.B. Jones, 43, of Troy, Illinois passed away at his home on Friday, August 9, 2024. He was born September 4, 1980, in Alton, Illinois. Brad was employed at Flexsys in Sauget as a chemical operator. He had a professional career in Mixed Martial Arts for several years and was the owner and operator of The War Room in Wood River. He also served people as certified EMT for a few years. He lived life to his fullest, had a strong determination in life to conquer any challenge and was always ready for his next adventure. He loved his days of playing hockey and enjoyed shooting, hunting, fishing and anything outdoors. He married Amy Kathleen Martin on May 13, 2024, and she survives. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his mother, Dorothy L. Boos of Maryville; three sisters and two brothers-in-law, Julie and Rocky McDonald of Wood River, Kim and Dana Delp of Edwardsville and Monica Zumwalt of Maryville; nieces and nephews, Eli, Jonah, Jackson, Kyra and Alaina McDonald, Grace, Jasper and Quincy Delp and Brennan, Riley and Jada Zumwalt; two stepchildren, Alexa Zeller and Austin Martin; his cherished dogs, Otis, Elsa and Marley; other extended family and many friends.
In celebration of his life, visitation will be at Irwin Chapel, 591 Glen Crossing Road in Glen Carbon, Illinois on Friday, August 16, 2024, from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. Visitation will continue at St. Boniface Catholic Church, 110 N. Buchanan Street in Edwardsville, Illinois on Saturday, August 17, 2024, from 9 a.m. until time of a Funeral Mass at 10 a.m. with Father Michael Trummer as celebrant.
