Rebecca Amber-Lyn Jones-Scales, 25, of O’Fallon, IL, born on February 6, 1999, in Belleville, IL, passed away on Sunday, August 11, 2024.
A 2017 graduate of O’Fallon Township High School, Rebecca was a member of the OTHS choir, Innovations show choir, Madrigals, and the Marching Panthers drumline. She was also an avid team photographer for the football and baseball teams, a member of the yearbook club, Scholar Bowl team, and tech crew for theater productions. She was an ardent baseball fan and loved the STL Cardinals and wisely chose the Pittsburgh Steelers as her football team.
Left to cherish Rebecca’s memory are, her son, Carson; her parents, Heather Jones and Johnny Scales; seven siblings, Drew Fisher, Jordan Fisher, Seth Mack, J.R. (Mary) Scales, Joshua Scales, Kathie Walcott, Jessica Mack; maternal grandparents, Jim and Soon Jones; four aunts, Teresa (Tim) Shannon, Carol Ireton, Shannan (Jim) Kellam, Sooky (Michael) Brigance; six uncles, Doug (Jay) Jung, Chris Scales, Jimmy Scales, David (Kim) Scales, Larry Scales, Danny Scales; nephew, Radley Scales and niece, Madison Scales: and many cousins.
