Cadence Annalynn Carr, 12 years old, of Troy, Illinois was born on March 3, 2012. She gained her wings on Saturday, August 17, 2024.
Cadence was a student at Triad Middle School. She loved soccer and was a proud member of St. Louis Scott Gallagher Soccer Club. Cadence was an avid St. Louis Blues fan and loved to travel especially to the beach. She loved a good Snapchat filter, a TikTok dance, and just always having fun with her friends. Cadence shined everywhere she went and will be missed by everyone she met.
Cadence is survived by her parents, Roxie (Rick) Laswell and Dennis (Victoria) Carr; her sister, Emery Carr; her four-legged siblings: Louie, Bobo, Charlie & Ivy; her maternal grandparents, Pawpaw Mark Clark Sr., and Mimi Julie Clark (Robbie Smith); her paternal grandparents Dennis (Christine) Carr II, Vanessa Thompson; her step-grandparents Richard (Pat) Laswell; her step-grandmother, Pamela Edwards; her aunts and uncles, Mark Clark Jr., Aaron Carr, Tyler Carr, Christian Carr, Tinah (Justin) Courtney, Denise Carr, Julie (Dean) Darnall, Faith Immken and Uncle DD and Chuchi (Dan and Laurie Clark); her special cousins, Chris (Chelsea) Clark and Annie & Emerson Clark; and her dear friend, Emerson Warner. Cadence is also survived by the Chavarria Family (Josh, Cassie, Jase and Silver), along with many other loving aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and teammates.
She was preceded in death by her beloved “Randpa,” Randy Reamer.

Visitation will be held on Friday, August 23, 2024, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Kassly Mortuary, Ltd., Fairview Heights, IL with funeral service officiated by Larry Weber to follow. Interment will take place in St. John’s Cemetery in Collinsville, Illinois.
